beautiful sunset in Cornwall

Can there be anything better than watching the sunset with your loved one? Perhaps if that sunset is on the stunning Cornish coast. These are a few spots we recommend for gazing at the golden sky:

  • Constantine bay – Near Padstow, this surfer’s beach is simply beautiful.
  • Watergate bay – Three miles of golden sands and rolling waves, ideal to watch an orange sun slowly disappear. While your there, how about some great food, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen serves up delicious plates with an equally tasty view.
  • Polzeath – A favourite with us, Polzeath has everything. Poet laureate Sir John Betjeman loved it too. Safe to surf with plenty of places to grab a hot chocolate and just sit back and relax as the sun slips away.
  • Bedruthan Steps – This beach is loved by all who visit, you don’t have to climb down to the shore, the view from the cliff tops is simply breathtaking.
  • Mawgan Porth – just next door to Bedruthan but far easier to access. A great family beach and a beautiful place to stroll as the sun sets.

But really any beach is a joy to behold when the sky turns that golden hue. Cares drift away and you remember why you love Cornwall!
